Dear Parents,
Are you interested in enrolling your child in St. Euphrasia School? Your interest and application is welcomed! We want to get to know you, your child and your family. At St. Euphrasia School, we are proud of our academic distinction and the achievement of our mission statement goals for all students. Every day, we nurture the faith, values and stewardship of all learners, while developing and nurturing their academic achievement and excellence. Here are a few highlights of the achievements that we celebrate every year:
· 100% acceptance rate into the area Catholic/private high schools with 1/3 or more of our graduates achieving “Honors at Entrance”. Students who are graduates of Catholic schools score higher on all standardized test measures than their public school peers – 97% of Catholic school graduates enroll in 4 yr. colleges/universities.
· Academic achievement (measurable by nationally standardized test scores) which indicate that our students are within the top 25% of students in the nation, especially in the subject areas of reading and language arts.
· Our school integrates service and learning in our daily curriculum practices, with themed units and learning projects that prepare our students to become global citizens.
· Professional, experienced and caring teachers and staff members who are dedicated to education and the mission of Catholic schools. All teachers are “highly qualified” (by NCLB standards).
· Enrichment activities that include Student Council, Academic Decathlon, art and music classes, Knights Club after school activities, school sports teams, and classes in performing arts, dance, music and art.
· A parent volunteer program that encourages parent partnership, supported by the Parent Teacher Council and Consultative School Board.
· Technology is used to enhance and support daily learning.
· A small, individualized approach to your child’s education, and a safe, nurturing small neighborhood environment.
We invite your questions and look forward to receiving your application for enrollment. You can receive updated information and upcoming tour dates by accessing our school website: www.steuphrasiaschool.org. Thank you for your interest in St. Euphrasia School.
Sincerely,
Mary B. Blair, Principal
